He said "I spy with my little eye...something beautiful."
He was talking about ME. *swoon*

___________
Tonight the boys were able to go to a game night at their Karate dojo. They had a wonderful time (Ralph and I got a little date night too!) and I heard all about it when I picked them up.
When we got in the car, Nate said it was "the best night of his life." Then I heard Joey in the back seat:
"Nate, you say this is the best night of your life. But one day you're going to get married, and then you'll say "This is the best night of my life." Then one day you'll have a baby, then you'll say "this is the best night of my life." Then one day, you'll have a grand baby, you'll say "This is the best night of my life." Then one day you'll meet God. You'll say "this is the best night of my life!"
I think it's good to have lots of bests....

First off, I'm sending Joaquin to Nathan for some tutoring. Especially in the backrub area.
I love Joey's long-term vision of Bests. Love Nathan's In the Moment appreciation of his evening. We don't have to save our 'bests' for the future.
At the moment, my husband is making me a sandwich, so as far as I'm concerned, this is the best lunchtime in quite a while! Don't you love it when they make US lunch?
My goodness! Those boys of yours are growing up to be wise, old owls!
SO incredibly sweet!
