Winter Wonderland

As most of you have, I think, we've had our share of snow. Ralph and I can't remember the last time we lived anywhere with snow on the ground for more than a week, and it just keeps coming. It's such a treat!

We've managed to stay inside most of the time. I've pulled out all the stops and done all the cabin fever prevention a woman can muster for a week.

We built marble towers....

The boys created a ship on the landing, played there for hours...

Even got a good ride out of our indoor doggy...

We loved our own amazing icicles~

visited Mai Mai and Papa,

and got in lots of reading!

Yesterday, we threw caution to the frigid wind and went out anyway. It was still not even 10 degrees, but the wind had settled for awhile, we went out to play.

This morning we're off to adventure down to warmer California. I imagine by the time we get back the snow will be but a fading memory...

Merry Christmas, my friends!
