Grand Prix

To paint your little, plain, pine car for the derby; Go outside. There is no good reason not to, and many good reasons to paint outside.

Pick up brush, pallette, choose 3 colors, or 8 or mix them all. Paint the colors where you like them. Blobby paint is just fine. It weighs more and will help your little car make it's weight.

Take time to notice the details. Don't ignore fine lines, sweet smells on the air, paint.every.spot. on that car. Take notice of every moment.

I love your Beatrix Potter quote - it says it all.
Great blog. I remember when our oldest was in Scouts - the Pine Car Derby is some fun.
