Nature Challenge #1

This is our first official nature challenge, though not our first outing by far. Ha! The boys had no idea they were "schooling." Took along a little favorite friend too. The two things we'll be learning up on are herb the beautiful caterpillar (living in the comfort of his own bug box here) and some puffy little balls (coccon? plant?) on a desert plant found in the canyon. Of course, the boys were very busy studying climbing, red ants, spiderwebs wedged in tiny rock caves, lizards and how to make a dust storm in two minutes. An interesting observation... seems the closer to the ground a person is, the more they tend to look at it and see all the interesting stuff down there. Once a person gets bigger, they tend to look up- for something to climb. Good, clean fun. I wouldn't have it any other way...

i love your song play list!! I have it playing today all day! Wish we could sing these kinds of songs at church more. ever pass them on to Michael? he's always open to new ideas!! :)

Where's my picture on the sidebar?!! :) Guess I have been a little bit out of the loop. it's hard to balance family, traveling all over the place, and local friends. I'll do better.

love, J

I am a devoted Amanda Playlist fan...I have been playing your music all day this entire week - it's made dinner making, house cleaning, clothes folding, and kid playing just that much more joyful. I love it!!

I tipped Michael off to your amazing compilation - that it's full of songs we haven't yet done at church but could (hint, hint!).

I think you have added some new songs since I started devotedly listening.

Thanks for the listening delights of "Amanda Radio". It's 100% exactly the stuff I LOVE!!

Thank you for taking Josh and giving him a fun filled day of nature and stuff little boys eat up! He had a wonderful day! I still can't believe he ate four bowls of chili!
